Screen Exposure for CTS and Wax Imaging Systems
This compact, vertical Lawson LED-5000 Vertical Slider is specifically designed for exposing CTS (computer-to-screen) and wax-produced screens. It simulates a metal halide exposure but is modernized for today’s CTS imaging technology. Using state-of-the-art technology, it remains reasonably priced. Its rapid exposure (5,000-watt equivalent light) is combined with energy efficiency, ease of use, and reliability. It is engineered and made in the U.S.A. at our St. Louis factory.
Its powerful LED lamps, rich in UV output, are optically balanced to provide exceptionally rapid exposure with SBQ photopolymer and dual-cure emulsions, without undercutting, ensuring excellent resolution. Consistent exposure is guaranteed by an electronic countdown timer. The UV LED lights are guaranteed for three years and have a life expectancy of over 50,000 hours.
The unit has no glass or vacuum, helping eliminate pinholes and enabling fast exposure times, even with inexpensive diazo or dual-cure emulsions. The unique black coating inside the exposure chamber absorbs light, creating a smooth, anti-glare background.
The LED-5000 Vertical Slider is a sophisticated yet easy-to-use exposure unit. The control panel is conveniently located, and each function is clearly marked to minimize errors.
